Sleight's Funeral Home, South Melbourne
A Seeburg organ of one manual and two ranks (Flute, full compass, and String, treble only) and a piano was installed at an unknown date in Sleight's Funeral Home, St Kilda Road, South Melbourne. It was fitted with a player mechanism, and was similar to a small photo-player, but without silent picture effects. It was removed in 1967 and broken up for parts. [Maidment, John, Gazetteer of Victorian Pipe Organs, Society of Organists (Victoria), Inc., Melbourne, 1970, p. 28, from information supplied by R O'Brien]
It is likely that the pipes were housed in the lower part of the upright piano case, as was the practice with most Seeburg Reproducing Pipe Organs.
