Note: The late Ray Thornley was assembling a unit instrument of some 26 ranks at his home in Gippsland, Victoria. This instrument was not completed before his death in 2001, and the components are currently in store in Melbourne. Other incomplete instruments and/or parts of organs (including isolated consoles) exist around Australia. Since none has yet constituted a complete organ, and their status is transient, they do not appear in the above list. Once they become playable instruments in their own right they will be added to the list.
